A new way of cooking - Fast, not Fussy

I am not one that likes to putter in the kitchen. I like to be time wise and then on to other things. For people who know me, that is not new information.

I am going to call this the Fast, not fussy way of meal planning. It is quick ways to fix food but not have to fuss (spend a lot of time) with a lot of details. Perhaps you are also a Fast, not fussy cook as well.

In addition to saving time when preparing meals, I also like to save money on healthy choices. Some of the focus in the video is about this. I found a bargain on cabbage heads. They were 79 cents per head! What a bargain!

Well, the savings for cabbage by the head has continued at this store. Currently the price per head is 99 cents. Still a bargain to have cabbage in a recipe for meals, save money, while at the same time eat healthy.

Recipe for Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

1/2 head of cabbage - diced

1 cup diced onions

28 ounces diced tomatoes

8 oz tomato sauce

1 cup water

2 Tbsp minced garlic

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

Put all ingredients into crock pot. Temperature - on high for one hour or until cabbage is tender.

Tip: A crock pot liner can be used to save clean up time.
