Improve your immune system

Updated: Apr 21, 2020

It seems a simple thing to do. But 1 in 3 adults don't get enough of this.

I am talking about sleep.

Sleep, enough each night, and of good quality, can help to ensure your immune system is at its best.

It also can help to prevent heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.

If you are from 18 to 64 years, you need 7 to 9 hours every night.

Let's talk tips to help you with getting enough sleep. And also ways to improve the quality of your sleep too.

  • Have a bedtime routine

  • Stop using electronic devices one hour before you go to bed

  • Go to bed at the same time every night. Get up at the same time every day

  • Keep the temperature in your bedroom cool and dark

  • If you don't fall asleep after 20 minutes, get up

  • Avoid caffeine in the late afternoon and evening

  • Avoid drinking alcohol before bedtime

  • Exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet

  • Don't eat a large meal before bedtime

Which tip(s) do you need to put into place to improve your sleep.
