Make it Monday - Flatbread Gluten free

Bread

I love bread. Perhaps most people do too. For a person who is gluten free, bread make be difficult to make at home.

Flatbread is a little different than regular bread

I found this recipe on Yummerly for flatbread gluten free

I chose the recipe because it only had 4 ingredients. I like simple in recipes and this one fit the bill.

Sandwich Flatbread gluten free

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 large egg room temperature

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Mix all ingredients together.

  3. Divide dough into 4 equal parts.

  4. Form one part of dough into a ball. Place ball onto parchment paper, Cover with another piece of parchment paper and flatten the dough with a rolling pin unitl it is about 1/2 thick and 6 inches in diameter.

  5. Do the same with the remaining pieces of dough.

  6. Place two flatbreads onto a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it. Put the other two flatbreads onto another baking sheet. Place in oven.

  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges begin to brown.

Two pieces of flatbread could take the place of regular "sandwich bread."

Also good to use as cracker or to put a spread on top of them

"Within the first 10 to 14 days of doing the Leap diet, I saw a noticeable improvement in my skin....I have noticed an overall improvement in my health. I have more energy and a clearer mind (no brain fog).

I would encourage anyone who is struggling with eczema or other skin related issues to try MRT/Leap program.

Working with Juanita through the MRT/Leap diet program has been a very positive experience for me. "
