Super food & a Swimsuit body

There are no foods that work like magic to help with weight loss.

The food I am going to talk about in this post is considered a super food and is somewhat a strange food to boot.

It is a food that has been in the top 10 super foods for the last 4 years.

Benefits of this food:

  • It lowers total cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL's, while increasing the good cholesterol or the HDL's

  • Reduces belly fat

  • Helps with weight loss

  • Makes a person feel satiated or fuller after eating it

  • May help to reduce your cravings for other foods that are higher in calories and have less nutrition

What is it?

The avocado.

The avocado is a fruit. Strange one at that. It is the only fruit that is also a fat.

The fat is a monounsaturated fat.

In addition to being a fat, it also has soluble and insoluble fiber in it. It is possibly this combination, the fat and the fiber that makes it work for weight loss and reducing belly fat.

Ways to eat avocado?

  • Guacamole

  • use like butter on toast

  • use in place of mayonnaise

  • make smoothies

  • use in soups, as a coating for broiled meats, as a topper for pizza, as a topping for salads

Aim to eat 1/2 per day.
