There usually is a lot of noise around January 1 about making new goals.
A lot of people jump on the goal bandwagon. They are enthusiastic about changing. And excited about changing a lot of things at one time.
Some people are pretty good at sticking with their plans and intentions.
Other people get discouraged and stop trying to achieve their goals after a couple of setbacks or roadblocks. Old habits are tough to break.
Time to shed the winter clothes - How to shed some weight to get to the summer or swimsuit body
It is almost the time when it will be warm enough and you won't be needed your coats, hoodies, or sweaters anymore.
Are you ready to make a change or two that will help you get to your summer or your swimsuit body?
What this is not.....
This is not a diet.
This is not eating just salads with the hope that this time, the pounds will go away and by summer you will look great in a bathing suit.
This is a focus on ways to eat healthy foods and to change your mindset about food, your environment, and even the way you talk about food.
It may be a way to stay the course and instead of just losing weight for the summer, to lose it for a lifetime. To change to healthier ways of doing and thinking about food and activity.
I like this quote....
“The best diet is the one you don't know you're on.”
― Brian Wansink
So in the next few posts, I will be introducing some ideas about not dieting, but ideas to be healthier that will last a long time.
Thank you for reading and for sharing the post with your friends.
